About

I have spent most of my career on systems where the interesting problem is not the feature but the throughput: customs declarations that cannot be lost, video renders that cannot take an hour, publisher traffic that does not stop for a deploy. Most recently it meant making a language model's output dependable enough to render unattended, thousands of times, without a human checking every frame. Two industries, one habit — read the spec, find the constraint, build to it. Along the way I have led a team, run hiring and code review, and sat in the rooms where airlines, warehouses and a federal customs service argue about what a requirement actually means.

Led Flickify end to end — a product that turns a web page or a block of text into a finished narrated video. Designed and built the Go pipeline behind it: page parsing, LLM-driven script generation, scene assembly, TTS orchestration, and an FFmpeg render farm on AWS where SQS distributes jobs to containerised workers on Kubernetes that scale horizontally with demand. Owned the problems that decided whether it shipped — prompt design and structured output reliable enough to render unattended, cost per video, deterministic results across retries, and editor round-trips fast enough to feel live. Alongside it, built and operated Go, PHP and Vue services across a publisher platform serving sustained high request volumes: Redis-backed, provisioned in Terraform, instrumented in Prometheus and Grafana, shipped through GitHub Actions. Profiled the hot paths with pprof, carried the on-call pager for what I built, and took a full share of design and code review.

Lead Software Developer

TransInfoTech

Owned the service for electronic declaration of goods and aircraft, integrated with the Kazakhstan customs IT system and with airline systems. Built the subsystems for airport warehouses, airport security, forwarders and consignors, and implemented IATA CIMP formats, qualified digital signatures, and SITA, ARINC and EDIFly Type B messaging. Ran technical interviews and code review, mentored the developers on the team, and wrote the system documentation the rest of them worked from.

Led a team of four — hiring, technical interviews, planning and code review — on the electronic declaration service behind e-freight in the Russian Federation, and stayed hands-on as its lead developer throughout. The platform let airlines and warehouse operators file documents electronically with the Federal Customs Service: IATA CIMP messaging, XML, PHP and Java components over PostgreSQL, and cryptography for qualified signatures. Ran the requirements sessions with airlines, warehouses and the federal customs service, where the constraints that actually shaped the system lived.
